Online therapy is just like FaceTime or Skype—only more secure and with a licensed therapist.

Sessions occur in real time using your computer’s or phone’s camera and microphone.

RTS delivers online therapy using a secure, HIPAA compliant platform. Sessions can be accessed using any computer, tablet, or cell phone, that has a working camera and microphone. You will received detailed instructions on how to access the virtual therapy room.

How to get the most out of online therapy:

  • Conduct sessions in a quiet, private location.

  • Sessions should not occur while driving.

  • Limit distractions by putting phone/devices on silent or do not disturb.

  • Utilize a laptop, when available, or have a stand for your phone/tablet. Propping your phone/tablet up works, too.

  • Have pen and paper handy for notes.
